MEET REUNION TOURISM IN AVIGNON

The DITEX Fair will be held this year on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st of March in Avignon. For the fifth consecutive year, the Reunion Island Tourism (IRT) and local tourism professionals will be present at this important B2B show. The fair will be an opportunity to take stock of the partnerships forged in previous years but also to sell Reunion vacations for the rest of the year and beyond.
Meeting place for decision makers travel agents and suppliers, the DITEX Fair will take place from 30 to 31 March 2016 in Avignon. The twelfth edition of this event dedicated to tourism professionals provides a strong market presence in the South of France. With a potential of over 1,000 travel agencies visiting the fair will IRT represent Reunion together with key stakeholders. Alongside IRT on booth # 54 will several Reunion partners also be present, among them the hotel establishments Palm Hotel & Spa, Iloha Seaview Hotel, Saint Alexis Hotel & Spa, Hermitage Relais and Swalibo, the hotel group Exsel Authentic Hotels and the helicopter company Corail Helicopters.
Besides the informative aspect on the many attractions of the island of Reunion, travel agents will have the opportunity to learn about Reunion with ESRD and its partners. These are genuine working tools which will be offered to visitors: the unique selling points and various aids, which will allow professionals to expand their knowledge about the destination and increase the value of their services to their clients keen on visiting the island.
DITEX takes place at a crucial period of the year the tourism sector just after the Easter holiday this year. The show is an opportunity to take proactive measures before the summer season and position the destination for the start of the autumn season from September 2016.
