GERMANY REMAINS #REUNION’S NUMBER ONE FOREIGN MARKET

IRT, short for Isle de Reunion Tourisme, presently runs a communication operation for the German market, in collaboration with the COMEO agency. More than 150 posters showcasing the island of Reunion are exhibited in the largest cities of Germany: Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich or even Hannover.
Two display formats, installed in places of high affluence, come to immerse the German-speaking public in the heart of the intense island.
In addition will IRT tomorrow launch a three stop roadshow in Germany:
- on 19 September 2017 in Frankfurt;
- on 20 September 2017 in Stuttgart;
- on 21 September 2017 in Munich.
Beside the IRT, many local partners are part of this professional tour: Côté Sun Hotels, Diana Dea Lodge & Spa, Hotel Le Nautile Beach, Iloha Seaview Hotel, Lodge Roche Tamarin & Spa, Lux * Saint-Gilles, Mille Tours, Palm Hotel & Spa, Le Relais de l’Hermitage, Reunitours, Saint Alexis Hotel & Spa. For the IRT and local tourism professionals, the aim is to meet travel agents, tour operators and the German professional press; on the one hand, to promote the island to new market segments with the presentation of new products and new offers from local partners, with their German partners and support their programming. Nearly 200 people are expected to attend the workshops during the three days of the roadshow.
