REUNION’S LOCAL BOOKING PLATFORM WELCOMES 100 STAKEHOLDERS AT ANNUAL WORKSHOP

The annual seminar of members of the regional reservation platform on the island of Reunion was held last week. During a whole day, a hundred tourism professionals from La Reunion were able to learn about the development possibilities of their activity offered by the Reunion Island Tourism booking platform (IRT), on the animation of the network and were able to share and share their experiences.The restaurant La Marmite du Pêcheur , located in Saint-Philippe, was chosen to host the annual seminar of members and a hundred Reunion tourism professionals covering all segments like accommodation, leisure, tourist offices, receptive agencies participated in the annual event.
After a welcome address by the mayor of Saint-Philippe Olivier RIVIERE IRT President Stéphane FOUASSIN and the representative of the IRT Marketing Club Isabelle GROSSET-PARIS, IRT Director General Willy ETHEVE announced the figures in tourism for 2017 to the hundred seminarians present.
The activity report of the Information and Marketing Department for 2017 was presented before awarding the 2017 Supplier Challenge Awards . Were rewarded in the turnover and progression category :

The end of the morning was devoted to the presentation of the activities of the IRT planned in 2018:
the agenda of the Information & Marketing Department by the Deputy Director of the Information and Marketing Department of IRT Anny BOYER;
the agenda of the Marketing & Communication Department by IRT Director General Willy ETHEVE;
the agenda of the Engineering & Development department by IRT Engineering & Development Director Stéphan ULLIAC.
At the end of the morning session the professionals participated in interactive one on one meetings of 45 minutes each.
