Reunion Tourism’s offers stakeholders a central booking system overview

REUNION HOLDS ANNUAL TRAINING SEMINAR FOR CENTRAL RESERVATION USERS

Only recently did Ile de la Reunion Tourisme hold their annual training seminar, attended by over 80 partner organisations which make regular use of the booking facilities offered by IRT via their website.

The participants gathered at the Village Bienvenue à Sainte-Marie for the day long workshop to hear about the various changes to the system made in 2013, all aimed at improving and streamlining processes and to make bookings easier. OInteractive workshops were open to the participants on various topics, including focus on the importance of the use of English language as well as the actual use of the various booking tools now embedded in the system.

IRT also announced more details on the various categories of services available through the Central Booking System, indeed an impressive line up through which literally every option of what to do and where to go is available at one’s finger tips:

The team from IRT, accompanied by a number of private sector stakeholders, are presently in Berlin / Germany to attend ITB 2014 and promote the island, not just as a standalone destination but also as a founder member of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Island Organization, which brings together a coalition of the willing, keen to promote the various islands and to showcase their different hallmarks, making it attractive for visitors to not only confine their vacation to one island but to perhaps see two or more.
