#ReunionIsland cranks up activities in French and Belgian markets

Sales challenges with Miles Attack and Travel 360 °

Reunion Island Tourism launches two sales challenges for travel agents, one in France and the other in Belgium, an operation that serves a dual purpose: to encourage travel agents to sell the destination Reunion but also to give them the means to know it better.

Intensely spectacular“.

This is the name of the sales challenge launched by the Reunion Island Tourism and whose concept is simple: the two travel agents who have sold the most trips to Reunion will be offered, each, a trip for two people in the intense island. This challenge, developed in France and Belgium, meets a twofold objective for the IRT: to encourage marketing and improve the reputation of the destination. For this operation, Reunion Island Tourism relies on the Miles Attack program for France and the French and Dutch Travel 360 platform for Belgium.

The challenge runs from February 20th to April 18th and concerns stays sold between February and December 31st, 2019. The lucky winners will enjoy a stay on the island and will be able to perfect their knowledge of the destination by finding themselves in the skin of tourists they send regularly under the sun of Reunion.

A specially created mini-site

Beyond boosting sales in the short term, the challenge “Intensely spectacular” launched by Reunion Island Tourism should allow travel agents to better know Reunion Island. An essential condition to better sell in the medium and long term.

A mini website created for the occasion serves as support for the campaign. It allows travel agents to register for the challenge and learn about the destination. It includes, pell-mell, articles, photos, but also more unusual topics such as “10 reasons to sell Reunion Island”, a Chinese portrait or questions-answers.

95% of travel agents in France affected!

To make the challenge live, a major digital communication campaign is organized by Miles Attack. It relies on publications via social networks and the regular sending of newsletters. Reunion Island Tourism benefits from the extensive network of travel agents available to the loyalty program. Miles Attack can boast 30,000 registered travel agents in Europe and 95% of travel agents in France.

In Belgium , the operation is carried by the Travel 360 ° platform from February 25th, 2019. Specialized on the Benelux market, it offers a great opportunity for the Reunion Island Tourism to increase awareness and the attractiveness of its destination.
