REUNION TOURISM RETURNS TO BELGIUM, LUXEMBURG AND SWITZERLAND

Before IRT, Ile de la Reunion Tourisme made an appearance at the Top Resa Travel Trade Show in Paris was a return to Switzerland, Luxemburg and Belgium on the cards, to make sure that previous sales and marketing efforts in these key markets were followed up.
Mindful, that tourism does not just happen but it is made, were the three French speaking countries – of course in Switzerland the people also speak their equally native German and Italian – targeted once more, involving travel agencies and agency personnel.
Lentz Reisen in Luxemburg, Vespa Tours by Footprint in Belgium and Indalo in Western Switzerland were the main partners in showcasing the island’s many attractions the latter making an appearance with IRT at the travel salon TTW.
Stakeholders from Reunion included home airline Air Austral, The Palm Hotel & Spa, The Lux***** Reunion, St. Alexis Hotel & Spa, the Iloha Seaview Hotel, Nautilus and Le Juliette Dodu, all of which made presentations at the workshops and seminars held on the various locations. Media briefings too were held at all places to make sure that the news of Reunion’s presence was further spread.
The promotional sales and marketing tour will continue after Top Resa is concluded where Reunion Tourism is reportedly making waves once again as France’s most desirable Indian Ocean island region, reached 12 times a week by Air Austral without ever leaving French soil.
