Our new camp in Tanzania, Heshimais located in Kisongo, a rural village about 16km outside Arusha, in Northern Tanzania. This village largely serves the Maasai Community. Heshima is a local charity that provides support to the community by offering children a good start to life and school and offering mothers training and skills to enable them to make an income and become more independent. RVA is partnering with Heshima to provide opportunities for students from overseas to participate in various projects implemented by Heshima. You will learn more about Tanzania’s beautiful people and their strong culture, and make a contribution to their work and their children’s education. This is also our base where we will run all our adventure and wildlife safaris from!

New Camps
In Kenya, we have some very exciting development with a new camp right on the periphery of Ngare Ndare Forest where we run so many of our adventure activities. With Mount Kenya to the south and surrounded by equatorial rain forest but very close to the Ethi village, Forest Camp is also our base for some of our sustainable community and environmental service projects where we will work closely with local schools as well as the Ngare Ndare Forest Trust to support their conservation initiatives.
We have 4 large safari tents which can house up to 40 people depending on group circumstances. Within the camp grounds are a lounge area, a large dining area as well as outside dining area, fireplace and bar.

Cycling for Kenya

The goal is to raise funds for their projects in Kenya where they have been working for the past 25 years focusing on children and youth on the south coast of Kenya. For more information click HERE |

The newest addition to our list of international expeditions we took one look at the awe-inspiring, ever changing countryside and were in a head spin: the cascading dunes, impressive coastline, vast populations of wildlife and that ‘Africa feeling’ makes Namibia our new favorite place.
Namibia is meant for sleeping under the stars, and that’s exactly what we do. The sky out here is crystal clear so we can easily spot the constellations. We pack up the camping gear and head out to our new camp where we spend the first few days working alongside the community on various projects that help reduce human-elephant conflict.
Namibia is unquestionably the African adventure capital and that’s exactly why we are so enticed to this spectacular country. From bike expeditions to sand boarding, kayaking to rock climbing, in every part of the country; Namibia is going to be our home away from home… ClickHERE to see program details. |
