The much awaited Rift Valley Marathon, due to have been run on the 11th of November, will according to the organisers be postponed until next year with new dates yet to be announced.
Wrote the organisers: ‘Unfortunately, we have had to take the tough decision to postpone the event until next year. Kyaninga Lodge will still be offering the discount for next weekend if anyone is still interested but the event itself won’t be going ahead.’
The marathon was one of three charity sports events Kyaninga Lodge had planned for this year and the initial two events were fully subscribed and attracted a lot of fans and spectators.
