ATC NEWS GUEST WRITER LILLIAN GAITHO SUCCUMBS TO CANCER

Guest writer and close personal friend Lillian Gaitho yesterday embarked on her final journey, one she will not be able to write a feature about.
Diagnosed last year with cancer, not long after having her third baby, did Lillian very bravely fight for her life in what was sadly to become a losing battle.
The family had late last year launched an appeal for assistance to help pay medical bills after insurance and savings had run dry and thankfully did her large friend and professional community respond with donations.

Lillian has over the years written dozens and dozens of contributions from her unique perspective as PR Manager of Jovago Travel which later turned into Jumia Travel and her articles and weekend thoughts were always awaited by her growing fan community and all readers of ATCNews.org
My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy goes to Lillian’s husband Chris Oketch and her three children Shali, Samara and Zaria, robbed of wife and mother by the cruel hand of death in the most untimely of manners.
Rest in Peace my friend – You are sorely missed!
