Rodrigues Islands ready for the 25th Creole Festival from December 1st to 8th

The dates of the 25th edition of the Creole Festival in Rodrigues have been announced. The island will celebrate from December 1st to 8th this year. It’s the Regatta Festival at Mourouk Beach that will set the tone for the annual meeting.
La fwar Artistik & Restoran Kreol will follow in Port-Mathurin from Monday, December 02nd. The Baladirou Residential and Training Center will host the Konferans Rezional lor Creolizasion, with the participation of speakers from the Creolophone Islands to initiate discussions on the creolization process in their respective contexts. Lanwit Teat will be held at the Ruy Karl Allas Cultural and Leisure Centre in Mon Pleaisir, on Tuesday, December 03rd.
The Creol Dicte will take place in Celpac, Port-Mathurin, and the Dance Show Project by Bianca show at the department of St Louis, Rodrigues College. The traditional Ball Bobes will bring together the amateurs and the public in Mangues. Regarding the election of Miss and Mr Festival Kreol, it will be on the program at the Hotel Cocotiers, on Thursday, December 05th. The reunion association Komkifo will be present for the Koktel Fonnker, at the affi che on Friday, December 06th at the Centre Culturel et de Leisirs Ruy Karl Allas.
The next day, the community center of Papayes will host the Patrimwãnn Workshop. Lanwit Patrimwãnn and Konser Losean Indian will close this edition of the festival at Stade St John Paul II, on Sunday, December 08th.
