ONLY FOUR DAYS UNTIL REGISTRATION CLOSES!
EXTREME (16+ years)
Held over two days, the Extreme combines both the Hardcore and the roller coaster Classic. This race will challenge the fitness and technical abilities of seasoned mountain bikers and elite riders
WILD (16+ years)
Also held over two days, the Wild is for you if you’re keen for an extra challenge but aren’t quite fit (or crazy?) enough for the Hardcore! That said, The Wild isn’t for the Sunday afternoon cyclist and you can be sure there’ll be plenty of excitement.
CLASSIC (15+ years)
Held on Day 2, the Classic is an experience that has become synonymous with the 10to4. At 2 to 6 hours ride time, a high level of fitness and experience is required.
RUSH (12+ years)
The Rush is a less arduous ride but will still provide exhilaration for younger riders, mid-level cyclists and those seasoned mountain bikers who spend more time in their office chairs than is good for them!
SLIDE (8+ years)
The Slide is a gently undulating and pleasant ride, suitable for all. Estimated ride time for this 39km route is between 1.5 to 4 hours, depending on ability.

MINI 10TO4 (4-12 years)The ever-popular Mini 10to4 just gets better and better!? With four different races to enter, we hope all our budding Sliders, Rushers, Classicists, Wildlings and Extremists will find something at the right level for them! |
ROSE DYER ADVENTURE RIDEIf pedalling a mountain bike doesn’t appeal, come riding the Borana horses instead. Four hours in the saddle trekking through this beautiful conservancy, looking for wildlife and taking in the scenery ?before enjoying a picnic lunch. |
AMREF cover is compulsory for all participants, and all the usual extras – camping, Bike Drop and Rider Transfer – are also available.
NEW – RIVER ROUTE OPEN FROM THURSDAY 15th @ 3pm
By popular demand, we’re opening up the Mini10to4 River Route for anyone to have a go from Thursday afternoon. Camping is also available so go on, make a weekend of it! We’ll even arrange time trials if we can get someone to hold a stopwatch … any volunteers?? |

GET YOURSELF SPONSORED!
Whether you’re going to make it to the event or not, you can do your bit to raise funds for the Mount Kenya Trust over the weekend of 16th to 18th February. Registered Competitors are encouraged to ask friends and family to sponsor them in their chosen race, but even if you’re not going to be on the mountain you can still help through the Virtual 10to4 Challenge. Just pick a main race – Extreme, Wild, Classic, Rush or Slide – or a mini race – Enduro, Hog, Dash or Scramble – and then get your bike out, saddle up your horse, put your running shoes on, or lace up your walking boots and join the fun by cycling, riding, running or walking the distance of your chosen race …. wherever you are!
Download a sponsor form by clicking/tapping on one of the logos above and see if you can win the prize for most money raised.

YOUNG RIDER SPONSORSHIP
Every year there are talented Kenyan cyclists who are unable to compete because the race fee, transportation, insurance and accommodation costs are just too high for them. |
In previous years, individuals and organisations have generously supported riders and teams, and this year we’re offering EVERYONE the opportunity to help us to be even more inclusive via a donation. You can donate in multiples of KSh 1,000, and every shilling raised will be used to match fund race fees for a local rider who would otherwise miss out. |
If you would like to apply for sponsorship or nominate a young rider, the criteria are as follows:
The applicant must:
· Be under 18
· Have a suitable mountain bike and essential kit – helmet, cycling gloves, padded shorts, water bottle, cycle pump, spare tubes, cycle repair tools, mobile phone and sunscreen
· Have a letter of support from someone who is known to us who can vouch for the applicant’s ability to complete whichever race they wish to ride
· Be able to raise at least 25% of the race fee, and pay for any extras (camping, bike drop, rider transport) themselves
· Have the necessary AMREF cover in place.
To apply, nominate or find out more, please contact 10to4Registration@MountKenyaTrust.org

Big Shout Out!
To the amazing folk who have already committed to supporting the event – without them we wouldn’t be able to guarantee that every shilling, cent, penny or other tiny currency unit collected in race fees will go towards supporting the amazing work of the Mount Kenya Trust!
