Destination 23 is launching this morning when RwandAir will commence a three times a week service from Kigali to Brussels.
The daylight flights leave at 10:30 hours Kigali local time, landing at Brussels at 19:00 hours. At 20:10 hours the flight then continues to London Gatwick before returning overnight back to Rwanda’s capital.
The aircraft on the route is an Airbus A330-200 with 20 seats in a state of the art business class cabin, 21 seats in Africa’s first premium economy class cabin and then 203 seats in economy class.

On all flights can members of ‘Dream Miles‘, RwandAir’s in house frequent flyer programme, earn miles.
‘Adding Brussels to our fast growing network, reaffirms our commitment to create new opportunities for both continents with smooth connections from cities with high demand and will go a long way in boosting trade and tourism’ said Col. Chance Ndagano, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of RwandAir.

Besides RwandAir, as of today, does Brussels Airlines also fly direct between Kigali to Brussels every day of the week except Fridays. The return flights take place via Entebbe or Bujumbura to Kigali and RwandAir has a code share arrangement with Brussels Airlines on these services too, making it a total of nine weekly connections between Rwanda and Belgium.
