(Posted 05th November 2017)
The outline of the programme and agenda for AFRAA’s 49th annual general assembly has now been released and #Rwanda is ready to host this continental aviation showcase event.
RwandAir, the host airline also holding the presidency of AFRAA until the end of the conference, has through their CEO Col. Chance Ndagano issued the following welcome message:
‘A warm welcome to all distinguished guests to our lovely country Rwanda, famously known as the land of a thousand hills and a million smiles, yet a million opportunities. We are honored and proud to be the host the 49th AFRAA AGA conference to take place from the 12th- 14th November 2017.
Located in the heart of Africa, Rwanda has a lot to offer ranging from national parks, rich culture, modern and clean city. This has all been achieved through exemplary leadership of the country.
As one of the fastest growing airline in Africa, Rwandair reaches out to more than 22 destinations across the continent, in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We intend to maintain this momentum going forward making our participation in this forum all the more important.
RwandAir will always endeavor to offer good services, improve on time performance and offer state of art technology such as onboard connectivity (Wi-Fi) and inflight entertainment. Our vision is to be the airline of obvious choice in the markets we serve.
With representatives from Civil Aviation authorities, airports, ground handlers, catering firms, insurers and manufacturers, this conference will not only discuss critical topics related to aviation industry broadly such as barriers to the implementation of the Yamoussoukro Declaration to reach our goal of having one African sky, but it is also an important platform for suppliers and consumers in the aviation sector to meet and exchange business ideas.
I take this opportunity to thank each one of you who is planning to spare time to be part of this conference in November and wish you safe travels to Rwanda.
Tubahaye ikaze (We welcome you).
Col. Chance Ndagano
Ag. Chief Executive Officer of RwandAir’as onboard connectivity (Wi-Fi) and inflight
