BOOMING DEMAND PROMPTS SAFARILINK TO ADD ANOTHER WILSON – DIANI FLIGHT

Safarilink earlier today confirmed to ATCNews that they will add a second daily departure from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to the Ukunda airfield in Diani.
An upswing in demand, from the domestic market but also the newly returned tourism market, made this possible.
The two daily flights will leave Nairobi at 08.45 hrs – this being the second flight – and at 14.00 hrs – this service has operated since the 15th of July already – and both services will return from Diani via Vipingo to Wilson Airport.
This follows hot on the heels of Safarilink also launching flights to Malindi, in conjunction with Lamu, reported here by ATCNews in early August.
