ADDITIONAL DASH 8 BOOSTS SAFARILINK’S CAPACITY
(Posted 23rd December 2016)
In time for the peak travel season in Kenya has Safarilink earlier today taken delivery of a new DHC Dash 8-315 aircraft, boosting their fleet even further after added deliveries of Cessna Grand Caravan’s throughout the year.
The new bird will be adding much needed capacity as the holiday season travel goes into overdrive and fly tourists and locals to the national park, upcountry destinations and notably the Kenya coast where Safarilink serves Lamu, Ukunda / Diani and the Vipingo Ride – Kenya’s only PGA Championship Golf Club.
Safarilink, like other airlines, operates scheduled and charter flights out of Wilson Airport, said to be Africa’s busiest. The airline operates a fleet of 9 Cessna Grand Caravans and 2 Dash 8’s with a passenger capacity of 13 and 37 respectively after this latest delivery.
Safarilink has also published the latest edition of their inflight magazine, now available on line for ‘virtual visitors‘ to Kenya who are keen to learn more about the country and the airline’s destinations.
