SARIT CENTRE AND KAREN 2017 DOMESTIC TOURISM EXPOS PERFECTLY TIMED AHEAD OF EASTER HOLIDAYS

The annual Sarit Centre Domestic Tourism Expo is underway and will continue until the 02nd of April with over 75 exhibitors showcasing their offerings.
This year the show dates are perfectly timed to sell last minute vacations ahead of the Easter holiday period.
Be it beach resorts from Malindi over Watamu to Mombasa and Diani or safari lodges and tented camps, special offers galore are available for those booking on site at the Sarit Center Expo where the who is who of Kenya’s tourism industry is exhibiting.
Hotel companies like Serena, Sarova, Porini Camps, Elewana and others are being swamped by visitors as are the stands individual hotels and resorts like Driftwood from Malindi, Hemingways and Medina Palms from Watamu and such renowned names like Leisure Lodge, Leopard Beach, Flamboyant, Swahili Beach and Baobab in Diani.
Airlines operating out of Wilson Airport like Safarilink and Air Kenya too are participating and have in conjunction with many coast resorts and safari lodges put special Easter and low season offers on the market, making flying safaris attractive to many locals and expatriates.
Kenya Airways and their low cost subsidiary Jambo Jet too are exhibiting and trying to cash in on the Easter travel boom.
The Kenya Tourism Board has been actively promoting domestic travel for the past few years and opened the eyes of many Kenyans to the attractions available in their own country.
Opening tomorrow is the Second Karen Tourism Expo at The Hub in Karen, specially targeting the residents of the affluent Langata and Karen suburbs of Nairobi. The two events are seen as a testament of a strong domestic market within Kenya which has been stimulated by special offers for Kenyans and residents, making travel within more affordable.
