OL PEJETA HOUSE TO LEAVE THE SERENA STABLE ON 01ST JANUARY 2020

Serena Hotels and the Ol Pejeta Conservancy have mutually agreed to end the present lease agreement for Ol Pejeta House. This property, formerly a country residence of Adnan Kashoggi, will revert to the direct management of Ol Pejeta Conservancy on 01st of January 2020.
Wrote Serena Hotels to ATCNews when confirming the development;
‘This is to inform you that Serena Hotels will release the Ol Pejeta House back to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy (OPC) effective 1 January 2020. At OPC’s request, this is an early termination of the lease for the conservancy to further their commitment towards community development and conservation initiatives.
Serena Hotels continues to operate Sweetwaters Serena Camp located within the OPC and we are sincerely grateful for your continued support. Please note that all confirmed bookings for 2020 are being transferred to the Morani Deluxe Wing at Sweetwaters Serena Camp‘.
The Ol Pejeta Conservancy, just a few hours drive or less than an hour flight from Nairobi, is renowned the world over for its rhino population and for being the home of the last two Northern White Rhinos living in the wild.
