SERENA HOTELS ONCE AGAIN GIVE THEIR SELOUS PROPERTIES A THOROUGH WORKOVER

Selous Serena Camp and Serena Mivumo River Lodge located inside Selous Game Reserve- the vast, pristine and largely undiscovered Game Reserve in Africa are currently undergoing soft refurbishments that are expected to enhance the guest experience and improve the aesthetics of the properties.
These properties showcase artistry in blending African designs with modern interior designs that make them unique among discerning guests looking for pristine safari destinations. The designs are inspired by the untouched natural setting of Selous that features rolling savannahs, lakes, rivers and deltas that give out an ambiance of serenity whilst providing an extraordinary wildlife experience for which the region is famed.
The refurbishments are timely as the properties are scheduled to be closed (end of March) ahead of the rainy season between March-April. Guests can however, look forward to the remarkable enhancements and exciting experiences such as the game viewing experience during which they can spot the Big Five and the famous wild dogs of Selous.
The following soft refurbishments are currently undergoing;
Selous Serena Camp
- 8 king size beds have had their mattresses replaced.
- Bar couches and balcony chairs for the 12 rooms are in the process of being upholstered.
Serena Mivumo River Lodge
- New bathroom rugs for all the rooms have been replaced.
- Room side couches are in the process of being upholstered.
- Bar couches are in the process of being replaced.
- The wooden walk ways covering at least 5 rooms have been converted to stone paving and the process is ongoing to see the rest of areas also converted.
