Precision Air yesterday launched their long awaited direct scheduled flights into the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Landing point is the Seronera Airfield from where all lodges and tented camps can be reached with ease.
The airlink is tailored for tourist visitors who are now able to fly straight out of Dar es Salaam to one of the world’s most iconic names among national parks, even offering an immediate connection from Zanzibar. This allows for a combination of beach and safari using the only IATA member and IOSA certified airline in Tanzania.
A baggage allowance of 23 kilograms will help passengers the dilemma of having to repack to meet the weight restrictions many of the safari airlines place on them due to the type of aircraft operated, a definite selling point for Precision Air.
Flights are operating initially four times a week though it is hoped that at least during the high season daily services can soon be established. For now passengers can use the flight every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Happy Landings, always!
