Seven arrested with ivory from four elephants poached in Magude, Mozambique

Seven men were arrested in Ngangue, Chókwè district, Gaza province, for possession of ivory from four elephants poached in Magude, Maputo province. Among those arrested by the Police of the Republic of Mozambique (PRM) in Ngangue, two have been identified as PRM agents. The arrest followed an operation by the National Criminal Investigation Service (SERNIC), in coordination with the National Administration of Conservation Areas (ANAC).
