With overwhelming support from a packed audience, the party confirmed *Alain St Ange* as its presidential candidate and *Daniella Payet* as vice-presidential running mate — a strong, principled team bringing real leadership, deep national experience, and a commitment to serve the people of Seychelles.

The event also marked the formal presentation of *26 candidates for the National Assembly*, representing every district across the country. These individuals come from diverse backgrounds — professionals, community voices, and public servants — united by one goal: to fix what’s broken, uplift the people, and restore dignity to our institutions.

Our country doesn’t need more empty promises or ego-driven power games,” said Dr, Alain St Ange. “We need leadership that delivers, listens, and puts Seychellois first — always.”

Vice-presidential candidate Daniella Payet added, “This movement didn’t rise from privilege or political favour. It rose from the people — from frustration, from hope, from the determination to build a fairer Seychelles.”

The convention also saw the official launch of the party’s *Manifesto, which lays out a clear and actionable plan focused on justice, transparency, and national pride. It includes the creation of a **Presidential Oversight Committee*, urgent reforms to pension inequalities, and protections against the exploitation of Seychelles’ resources.

The turnout and energy in the room sent a powerful message: *Lalyans Nouvo Sesel is not here to play the same old game — it’s here to change it*.
