Ms Isabelle Ravinia, conservationist, event organizer, and chairperson of the Around Seychelles in 18 Bays Project, and Ms Chantal Hoffman, renown local sailor and windsurfer, received the 80 branded Seychelles Islands bags.
The event, scheduled on June 10 to coincide with World Oceans Day, will bring together around 70 prominent women in their different fields who will sail to promote awareness about marine life protection while raising funds for charity.
PS Francis, who presented the token, stated her enthusiasm for the effort, saying, “This project truly inspiring, and we hope that our women, especially the younger ones can be encouraged by your strength and determination. We wish you all the best in your adventurous venture.”
Ms Ravinia further stated that the tourism sector has been an important partner in the initiative, providing many forms of assistance.
“Raising awareness for our ocean and our pristine environment is the main goal of this project, but we are also highlighting our beautiful destination, and I am confident the photos will be amazing,” she explained.
The two ‘Around Seychelles in 18 Bays’ participants finished the discussion by stating that the inaugural event will set the tone for future events and expressed their hope that the fantastic concept would be carried out on a global scale.#charity #marketing #project #environment #tourism #event #marine
