#Seychelles sign bilateral air service agreement with #Zimbabwe

NEW AIR SERVICE AGREEMENT PAVES WAY TO ESTABLISH AIR LINKS

A new bilateral air services agreement was recently concluded between Seychelles and Zimbabwe during ICAN 2019 held in Jordan
ICAN stands for the International Air Service Negotiation Conference which is organized by ICAO, the International Civil Aviation Organization.
It was learned that at the same time did Seychelles also sign a new agreement with the Dominican Republic.
Additional negotiations were also advanced during the conference with such countries like Cyprus, Senegal, Guyana, Belarus and and Paraguay and now await signature.
Seychelles, as an island nation, depends on air transport to bring in tourist visitors but also urgent air cargo and enjoys daily flights from many countries to the main island of Mahe.
National airline Air Seychelles, operating a fleet of two Airbus A320, one of them the latest A320Neo version and several turboprops serving inter island flights, currently flies under such bilateral arrangements to Johannesburg, Mauritius, Madagascar, Tel Aviv and Mumbai.
