Visitor arrivals to the Seychelles rose from the 2018 record high of 351.235 to yet another record – the 10th in a row – to 384.204 in 2019.
The Seychelles Tourism Board had targeted a 4 percent growth which has been exceeded, giving the first indication that in 2020 the number of tourists coming to the paradise islands will exceed 400.000.
Germany, France, the UK, Italy, the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland are the leading source countries for visitors.
Across the islands are hotels, resorts, guest houses and self catering establishments recording rising occupancy levels, all fueled by the continued trend to travel to the islands.
