SEYCHELLES TOURISM MEETS THE INDUSTRY AT THE CONSTANCE EPHELIA RESORT
(Posted 17th July 2019)
The Seychelles Tourism Board yesterday held their annual Marketing Meeting 2019 at the Constance Ephelia Resort on the main island of Mahe.
The one day meeting saw the participation of all key tourism and hospitality stakeholders including government representatives, led by the Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Ports and Marine Didier Dogley, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board Mrs. Sherin Francis, most of the STB staff from Victoria and representatives from all their marketing and sales office outposts across the world.
The meeting discussed the rise in both arrivals and revenues in the first half of 2019 before setting eyes on 2020 and beyond, to ensure the right measures are put in place to see continued growth for the sector.
Arrivals during the first six months of 2019 rose by just under 10 percent already, with the normally slowest arrival month June recording over 25.000 arrivals alone.
