SLOW PACE OF GLOBAL VACCINATION CAMPAIGNS PROMPT SEYCHELLES TO REVIEW ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Seychelles Tourism has reiterated that all tourists are welcome to the islands, although differences remain for those who have been vaccinated already and others who are not.
A valid PCR Negative Test is required for all who seek entry to the islands, regardless of vaccination status.
Vaccinated visitors – a two week period must have elapsed between the second vaccination and entry – can then move freely across the islands while visitors without vaccination certificates must stay for at least the first 10 days of their visit in an approved resort or hotel before being allowed to venture out.
An additional requirement now is also a valid travel insurance covering Corona treatments while all visitors must register online ahead of their travel to the Seychelles.
It has also been pointed out that, unlike in the past, visitors are no longer allowed to use public transport when venturing out and exploring the islands of Mahe and Praslin, but must use transport services of licenced travel and tour operators for such trips.
