SEYCHELLES – A HONEYMOON DESTINATION IN EVERY MARKET PLACE

Seychelles is at the 2016 wedding fair held from the 8th – 10th of April in Reunion, to re-position the destination as a high-end tourism honeymoon destination in the Indian Ocean region and creates its first consumer advertising buzz on the destination.
Effective Monday 04th of April did the colours of Seychelles take over the streets of Reunion with advertising banners giving away a grand prize for the winning couple to realise their dream of a lifetime in Seychelles.
These were put up in joint partnership with the organiser of the fair, Perfect Communication. Seychelles is be participating in the fair alongside Mauritius and South Africa. These two other holiday destinations have until now been among the most coveted destinations for Reunion travellers due to their competitive and attractive hotel packages.
At the 2016 wedding fair, Seychelles has been given the opportunity not only to host the show in partnership with the wedding fair organiser, but to benefit from the promotional television spots on Antenne Reunion and Tele Kreol, aimed to lure visitors to the Seychelles stand and re-build the confidence of Reunion travellers to make Seychelles their next stop holiday destination.
With the presence of its airline partner Air Austral, Travel Agent Austral Voyages and Seychellois hotel partner Avani Barbarons Resort & Spa, the Seychelles Tourism Board wanted to re-enforce the awareness of the destination offering competitive promotional packages during the three-day wedding fair.
The grand winner, who walks away with two airline tickets sponsored by Air Austral, three nights on Half Board sponsored by Avani Seychelles Barbarons Resort & Spa together with Austral Voyages and one night on half board sponsored by Seychelles Savoy Resort and Spa and Austral Voyages, will be announced during a big draw on the last of the fair, Sunday 10th April in the presence of Antenne Reunion and visitors of the fair.
