Shaping a Sustainable Future with Amadeus

Shaping the future of travel is not just about our technological leaps, it’s about coming together as a community, getting involved and driving sustainable social enhancement. Amadeus has worked with former alumni of St. George’s Primary School as well as forging a CSR partnership with Uniglobe Lets Go Travel.

This month we had a quick chat with Salim Omar, East Africa’s Helpdesk Trainer and Corporate Social Responsibility Champion where we discussed his greatest achievements in the role, causes close to his heart and future CSR activities which Amadeus are taking part in.

Amadeus has been in the forefront championing collaborative travel and tourism. To further this we sat down with the newly appointed Kenya Wildlife Service Director General Mr. Kitili Mbathi to find out how best we can get involved in shaping the future of tourism and travel in the region.

Travellers increasingly want their trips to have a more positive impact on society. Amadeus has launched the ‘Click for Change’ with UNICEF, an initiative where everyone wins. It combines Amadeus technology with the scale and reach of online travel and UNICEF’s dedicated programs for children to truly make an impact.
