JENIFER MUSIIME JOINS SHERATON KAMPALA AS DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING

The Sheraton Kampala Hotel has appointed Mrs. Jenifer Bamaturaki Musiime as their new Director of Sales and Marketing. Jenifer will be joining the hotel from here immediate past position as Head of Sales and Marketing at Air Uganda, Uganda’s quasi national airline until on the 17th of June this year a totally out of control Civil Aviation Authority pulled their AOC from them and other Ugandan airlines, halting all international flights by Ugandan carriers and effectively killing the airline to cover up their looming failure of an ICAO audit.
Well known in business, commercial and tourism circles in Kampala with her finger on the pulse of the industry will Jenifer no doubt add great value to the Sheraton, which has since the departure of James Rattos in November last year – he joined the Naivasha based Enashipai Resort & Spa as General Manager – been without a substantive office holder.
This latest appointment concludes the revamping of the senior management team under General Manager Ian Duncan who has during his time at the helm, supported by a new chef team, injected a new lease of life into the F&B department which has since then risen to reclaim market share and make the hotel once again a place where Kampala’s who is who can be seen to dine out.
