MICHELE MAGRONE MOVES TO THE KAMPALA SHERATON HOTEL

The Kampala Sheraton Hotel has just confirmed that Mr. Michele Magrone has joined as new Director of Sales and Marketing, following in the footsteps of Mrs.
Jennifer Musiime, who left late last year for family reasons.
Michele worked for the past couple of years in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for Sheraton and other hotel companies and before that for Starwood in the Gulf area in various assignments. He brings a wealth of experience with him and will no doubt have to dig deep, given that Carlson Rezidor will in a few months open a new Quorvus Collection hotel not far from the Sheraton Kampala.
The Kampala Sheraton has in recent years made a real impact again with its restaurant business and its meeting facilities and has more recently embarked on a refurbishment programme to progressively modernize the hotel’s room product and bring it in line with the competition across the city at the five star level.
For now though it is a warm welcome to Michele to Uganda, the Pearl of Africa.
