SILVERSTONE MAKES GOOD OF PROMISE TO CONNECT KISUMU WITH MOMBASA

Silverstone will this Friday launch the first ever nonstop scheduled flight between Kenya’s Indian Ocean port city of Mombasa and Kenya’s lakeside port city of Kisumu.
The service will according to information received operate initially twice a week, every Friday and Sunday afternoon, using a single class Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft.
The airline has however already indicated that a third flight, operating on Wednesday, is under consideration.
The launch fare has been set at Kenya Shillings 10.500 one way inclusive of all taxes which compares favourably with the individual fares charged so far between Mombasa and Nairobi and on to Kisumu, more so when considering the gain in time by cutting out the Nairobi stop.
