South Sudan records yet another air accident

A LET410, owned and operated by Salaam Air Express. MSN 962633 and registered as TL-BMM, has on landing in Lankien / South Sudan veered off the runway and sustained substantial damage. The aircraft was first put into service in 1996

The cargo flight had a crew of 5 onboard and originated from the South Sudan capital of Juba.

 

 

An air accident investigation has been launched by the aviation authorities in Juba and a team been dispatched to visit the crash scene.

According to information received did none of those onboard suffer any serious injuries.
