South Sudan tourism update

Bahr el Jebel Safaris, which remains South Sudan’s only licenced safari operator at this stage, will reopen their office in Juba next month and is planning to commence expedition style safaris from January next year. This follows the signing of the IGAD Peace Agreement which was finally signed earlier this week by the regime in Juba. Read on for a full update and overview of their proposed itineraries.

Safaris will restart in January of 2016. We intend to limit our safaris to the southern half of the country.
