Four ‘Four Points by Sheraton‘ are opening in East Africa in coming months, the first one being in Nairobi’s Hurlingham suburb where a brand change is presently underway.
Initially opened as a Best Western Premier is the hotel presently closed to put final touches on the transformation to this Starwood brand and re-opening has been set for the first week of Apri.
The same owners will then by mid year also open a brand new hotel near the international airport, making it two of this Starwood brand to enter the Kenyan market in the space of just a few months.
Next in line will then be two hotels coming under this brand in Arusha, where the Arusha Hotel will become a Four Points by Sheraton in early July, followed by the New Africa Hotel in Dar es Salaam a month later.

Starwood, now part of Marriott, has become a global hospitality giant and the group is on a relentless march of Starwood and Marriott brands across Africa with in particular the continent’s leading brand, Protea, also expanding in Eastern Africa.
