#SUDAN GOVERNMENT INTENT TO REVIVE NATIONAL AIRLINE

Following the lifting of the economic embargo against the Sudan by the United States has the government in Khartoum shown interest to revive the fortunes of national airline Sudan Airways.
According to Transport Minister Al – Awad will the Sudanese government initiate discussions with Airbus for the supply of additional Airbus aircraft after last year already sourcing two planes through Chinese funding.
Neither airline nor the government has offered further comments at this time as to time frame, the number of aircraft they are intent to acquire and the destinations to be served when the fleet renewal is underway.
