MORE NAIROBI FLIGHTS AS SWISS ANNOUNCES INCREASE FROM FIVE TO SIX

Effective 06th of July will Swiss add a sixth weekly flight between Zurich and Nairobi, it was learned earlier today. Traffic days for Swiss flights from July onwards will be Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Parent company Lufthansa, which had a rocky start in the Kenyan market after pushing traveler favourite Brussels Airlines to Accra in a route swap two years ago, will also add another flight, making it six per week from Frankfurt too.
The added flights are expected to benefit Kenya’s trade and tourism, crucial ahead of the upcoming general elections on the 08th of August. Lufthansa’s traffic days were given as Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
