African Music Under African skies

Sauti za Busara is one of Africa’s top music festivals. Included in CNN International ’s top ‘7 African music festivals you really have to see’, it’s popular with local people and attracts visitors from all continents.

Sauti za Busara brings people together in celebration of African music. The 12th edition takes place in Stone Town, Zanzibar during February 12 – 15, 2015. The theme is PEACE & UNITY, with a special focus on the music of Tanzania.

With two stages showcasing emerging talents alongside big-name artists, musicians from Tanzania already confirmed for Sauti za Busara 2015 include:

Culture Musical Club, Mim Suleiman, Msafiri Zawose, Weusi, Leo Mkanyia & Swahili Blues Band, Mohamed Ilyas & Nyota Zameremeta, Mgodro Group, Zee Town Sojaz, Rico Single & Swahili Vibes, Ifa Band, Mwahiyerani, Tunaweza Band, Mabantu Africa, Cocodo African Music, Kiki Kidumbaki, DCMA Young Stars, Shirikisho Sanaa Group, Babawatoto Centre and more.

Representing Kenya will be Octopizzo, Sarabi and Bonaya Doti. And Liza Kamikazi and band from Rwanda.
