Taita Hills lodges publish new rates ahead of relaunch

ATTRACTIVE RATES ARE THE KEY TO BRING VISITORS BACK TO THE SAFARI LODGES

(Posted 30th July 2020)

The Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa and the Salt Lick Safari Lodge, ahead of the relaunch on the 15th of August, have published rates valid for East African residents valid until the end of the year.
The offers include a free 4th night for guests booking for a three night stay, a guided tour of the #BattlefieldEastAfrica sites in the area including a visit to the infamous ‘Mile 27‘ where German World War I troops tried to blow up the railway line from Voi to the frontline and a soft drink or bottled water during the main meals.
Attractive rates are the key to bring local and regional visitors back to Kenya’s safari lodges, and while Uganda’s borders remain closed without any indication of reopening at this time, can East African residents from Rwanda, Tanzania, Burundi and South Sudan take full advantage of the offers.
Entrance fees into the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary only apply when entering for the purposes of game drives or when staying at the Salt Lick Safari Lodge.

The lodges can be reached from both Nairobi and Mombasa by all tarmac highways and roads but also by disembarking at Voi Station using the SGR Madaraka Express from where transport to the lodges can be arranged.
The lodge also has a private airstrip available for chartered aircraft coming from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport or the coast airports and airfields.
