The Baobab Beach Resort & Spa – a week and counting to reopening

KENYA’S LEADING ALL INCLUSIVE BEACH RESORT GETTING READY TO WELCOME GUESTS AGAIN

Silvester Mbandi, the General Manager of the Baobab resort complex, which also includes Maridadi and Kole Kole, has told ATCNews that the resorts are gearing up for a full scale reopening on the 01st of August, incidentally also the day international scheduled passenger flights can resume to and from Kenya.

In preparation he also wrote to the resort’s past guests, who signed up to receive news updates on a regular basis:

Dear Guest,
I hope and pray that you, your family and friends are safe and in good health at this time. With the progression of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the health, safety and wellbeing of all our guests and staff remain our top priority. We are working closely with medical professionals, specialists and Kenya’s Ministry of Health regarding the necessary precautions to keep our resort secure and protected from the recent outbreak and follow the guidelines issued by the World Health Organization (WHO). The contents of this document will give you an insight into the measures we are taking to ensure your safety and wellbeing as we resume operations from 1st August 2020. I would like to thank you for your continued support. Our aim is to provide you with an enjoyable experience in a safe environment.
