KENYA AIRWAYS USES WTM APPEARANCE TO CREATE TURBULENCE IN THE AIRWAVES

(Posted 06th November 2014)

Kenya Airways’ Director of Marketing Chris Diaz used his presence in London for the World Travel Market to hit the airwaves in Europe. Bolstered by the recent aircraft deliveries, last month two brand new aircraft arrived in Nairobi – the airline’s 6th B787-8 Dreamliner and a new B737-8HX – followed by a change at the helm when Mbuvi Ngunze took over as CEO from Dr. Titus Naikuni and as far as London is concerned a repeated top position at Heathrow as the most punctual airline, did he make it to Euronews.com with an interview which was widely screened and distributed.

Hot on the heels of launching the Kenya Airways ‘App’ which allows passengers to manage their flights with the tips of their fingers on their smart phone, phablet or tablet while on the move are other innovations now in place too back home, after the new lounges, Pride and Simba, were opened to the airline’s premium passengers.
