Saturday March 24: How to Shoot: Ultimate Wildlife Photography
In this workshop you will:
• Consider the principles for good and effective nature photography
• Learn and understand how the digital age and latest camera sensors have changed the way we approach wildlife photography
• Apply this knowledge to set up your camera to achieve maximum results
• Effectively implement and make use of a rating system to sort images and more quickly enable you to improve your photography
Sunday March 25: Lightroom Made Simple for Today’s Wildlife Photographer
This workshop will help you to transform the editing process, giving you the know-how to quickly and efficiently sort and enhance your digital images. It is aimed at all photographers, although the emphasis and theme is on wildlife and nature photography.
In this workshop we’ll teach you:
• How to approach Lightroom and implement it for wildlife photography
• How to let Lightroom do 90% of your editing when importing your images
• How to reduce your editing time and workflow by 90% by implementing automated import presets, editing presets, keywords and special collections
• The art of cropping
• How to evaluate your edited photographs
Working in a small group, the workshops will be informal and interactive. Attendees will need to bring a laptop and a selection of images to work with.
Photographers who currently use other software but who are looking at ways of streamlining and making their editing process will find this a useful day to asses an alternative option.
