The City of Windhoek is planning to host the second “Open Streets Day” in Windhoek. The event will take place on 04 April 2020 on Independence Avenue in Windhoek’s Central Buisness District (CBD). Between 08:00 – 15:00 the stretch between from Clemens Kapuuo Street all the way to Penning Street will become a car-free corridor for residents and visitors to enjoy as shared public space. There will be games, arts and crafts, food stalls, open gyms, walking and cycling in the street space.
