AirHelp, a claims management company that promotes and enforces air passenger rights in cases of flight disruptions, has released its annual airport ranking. For this year, the company ranked 239 airports from 69 countries to create the “AirHelp Score 2024“. In order to ensure a reliable ranking, AirHelp used information on each airports’ on-time performance from its own extensive database (contribution to the score: 60%), and combined it customer opinion on the airports’ staff, wait times, accessibility and cleanliness (20%) as well as with passenger ratings of the airports’ shops and restaurants (20%). The “AirHelp Score 2024” looks at flights taken from 01 May 2023 to 30 April 2024.
