Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, which was temporarily closed to the public since 10 January 2024, is set to reopen. The temporary closure to tourism during the traditionally wettest months of the year allows the roads to have a rest and the roads team to upgrade them. It also allows Gonarezhou National Park’s tourism infrastructure team to conduct some maintenance work on the camps and the camp attendants to take some time off to spend with their families.
