MARRAKECH LEADS AFRICA’S TOP TRAVEL DESTINATIONS

Marrakech was named by TripAdvisor as Africa’s top travel destination, also making it into position 9 of the global top ten rankings just published by the company.
In fact did Morocco make three appearances in the top ten for Africa, with Essaourira claiming fifth spot and Fes claiming third spot.
Other destinations named were Zanzibar as number two, Cape Town as number four, Nairobi as number six, Arusha as number seven, Overstrand as number eight, Grand Baie as number nine and finally Victoria Falls as number ten.
Others who fancied making the top ten African travel destination will have to go back to the drawing board and wait another year until the next ranking list will be published.
Congratulations to the top ten named above and in particular to Marrakech for putting Africa on the global map too.
