TRIPADVISOR RECOGNIZES EXCELLENCE IN KENYA’S HOSPITALITY SECTOR

For the 14th year now has TripAdvisor highlighted the world’s top properties based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers around the globe. Winners were identified in the categories of Top Hotels, Bargain, B&Bs and Inns, Luxury, Service and Small Hotels. The hallmarks of Travellers’ Choice winners are, as always, remarkable service, quality and value for money.
The dusitD2 Nairobi yesterday announced that the hotel has been recognized as a winner in the 2016 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice™ awards category for Hotels and that notably, in the space of two short years, it is now ranking 10th among some of Nairobi’s finest hotels.
Mr. Michael Metaxas, the General Manager of the dusitD2Nairobi said when sharing the news: ‘Our most important feedback comes from our clients. Because we are in a competitive service industry the only way true measure that you are doing the right thing stems from recognitions such as these because they are purely based on feedback, and we are remain grateful to our clients and humbly obliged to offer nothing that the very best of dusitD2 Nairobi’.
Meanwhile did Barbara Messing, Chief Marketing Officer for TripAdvisor, add her own read when she commented: ‘We congratulate the properties that have won Travellers’ Choice Hotel awards. As travellers consider where to book their next trip, they should be sure to check out these award-winners that have already delighted millions of members of the TripAdvisor community’.
Several of Nairobi’s top hotels have reportedly also received similar mentions but it was the dusitD2Nairobi which was first out of the starting blocks to share this information.
