Each year the Event Organizers recognize an individual who has gone beyond all expectations of team spirit to embody the essence of the 10to4 Challenge. In 2026, this award goes to Jason Axt who, in true 10to4 spirit, stopped to help a fellow participant who was injured. In the words of her husband: “A special shout-out to a rider named Jason. Jason, you are an absolute hero. You stopped your own race and stayed with us to make sure she was okay. We are incredibly grateful for your kindness and help.”
And a special mention to the Honda family who, despite this setback, are determined to return for the 2027 10to4 Challenge.

People like Jason and the Hondas are why we LOVE 10to4!

WINNERS AND FULL RESULTS

AS ALWAYS, WE COULDN’T EVEN BEGIN TO OFFER SUCH A GREAT WEEKEND WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF OUR AMAZING PARTNERS!.

Thank you first to our incredibly generous hosts, Borana Conservancy, Kisima Farm, Mount Kenya National Reserve, Ol Donyo Farm, Marania Farm, Ngare Ndare Forest Reserve. Without access to this amazing landscape, we wouldn’t be able to offer the world-class race routes that make 10to4 the unique event that it is.

Rangers from KWS, KFS, Mount Kenya Trust, Ngare Ndare Forest Trust, Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, and Borana Conservancy were, as always, there to keep an eye out for everyone en route, with additional security from Kisima, Marania and Ol Donyo.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to our loyal corporate sponsors and partners, as well as the new friends who have come on board this year. There are not words to thank our committed headline sponsor Tropic Air and the dedicated team who provide aerial support for the entire weekend and beyond. Tropic Air is there behind the scenes for MKT whenever we need them, and with no thought for publicity or gratitude, they do so much for conservation in the area.

This year we welcome back Dormans as Platinum Sponsor, say hello again to Southern Cross Safaris as the returning Mini 10to4 sponsor, and thanks to Braeburn Schools for once again supporting the children’s play area at Race Village.

Other sponsors and partners are vital to all aspects of the event, from manning waterstops to donating water, marking routes to building loos, providing first aid to cyclists and their bikes, making sure we have goody bags for everyone and prizes for the winners, and everything else in between!

As always, the final thank yous go out to the many volunteer route markers, starters, timers, result crunchers, camp managers, registration assistants, and runners who gave their time so generously. There’s no way we could have managed without their help – there are lots of them and we hope they know who they are and how much they’re appreciated. Thanks to our set-up teams, rangers and late night bike-droppers, to briefers, sweepers and medical coordinators, and to tent-erecters, rubbish-collectors and course inspectors – hugely well done to everyone, hope you had a great weekend too!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE SO GENEROUSLY. WE ARE, AS ALWAYS, IMMENSELY GRATEFUL

Your comments are welcome and will receive a response in due course.
