CONGRATULATIONS!
The 2020 Tropic Air 10to4 Mountain Bike Challenge raised a record
USD$100,570!
WOW – we are completely blown away and have only just got the mud out of our wheels! The money raised at the event goes towards protecting Mt Kenya, Borana Wildlife Conservancy and Ngare Ndare Forest.

| The JASPER HORWOOD MEMORIAL PRIZE
WINNER OF THE TOP CHILD FUNDRAISER
Aurora Benham (Age 6)
Aurora rode in the Mini 10to4 and raised nearly KES 200K.
When asked about how she raised the money, Aurora said
“I raised money by making a video and riding my bike. I also made cupcakes and sold them to neighbours, and I even put them in the oven and did all the washing up myself”. |

| The PAUL SHERWEN MEMORIAL PRIZE
WINNER OF THE TOP ADULT FUNDRAISER
Hitesh Shah and Amardeep Jandu (Age – undisclosed!)
Every season the pair are on the mountain with their family and friends planting at Marania Forest. The Sukuma Twende Trust (Hitesh and Amardeep’s charity) have raised a phenomenal Ksh 800K+ and they aim to plant 50,000 trees in the April rainy season, and are hoping to raise funds for another 50,000 trees for the next planting in October. What a dynamic team! |

| IN REMEMBRANCE OF STU CUNNINGHAM
Stu and his team have been managing a private camp for 10to4 participants at the event for well over a decade. Very sadly Stu passed away towards the end of last year. It was a strange year without Stu’s family and team with us in 2020. Farewell Stu, and thank you for the wonderful years of support, and all you did to help the 10to4 organisers, entrants and mountain. You are missed by us all and our thoughts are with Fi, Ed and your wonderful team. |
