Trouble in paradise as Kenya’s Vet Union takes aim at government officials

#RHINO DEATHS IN #KENYA – THE UNION OF VETERINARY PRACTITIONERS REACTS TO SUSPENSIONS

(Posted 27th July 2018)

Yet more trouble is brewing in paradise over the reactions by government following the death of 10 rhinos in a bodges relocation and with the remaining one fighting for its life after being attacked by lions.
The Union of Veterinary doctors came out swinging only hours after a ministerial statement was delivered in Nairobi, and from the contents of their letter is it clear that they will not have the blame heaped on their members, turning the heat on government and reserving further unspecified action, should some of the decisions not be reversed vis a vis suspensions of vets.
The letter is self explanatory and is being reproduced here in full for the benefit of ATCNews.org readers, shedding some light also on the circumstances and the planning of the relocation:
