With the launch of flights from Entebbe, via Lagos, to Abuja successfully concluded are all eyes now on the upcoming inaugural flight to Lusaka and on to Harare.
Due to take off for the first time on the 25th of September, will those two new destinations be served four times a week with the airlines CRJ 900 aircraft, which is configured in a two class layout of Business and Economy.
Connectivity between Uganda and Zambia but also Zimbabwe will be much improved, sparing passengers – both ways – the often cumbersome if not outright troubling stopover at another airport in the region which demands additional security checks and the risk of checked baggage being mishandled.
From the 25th of September will such potential trouble points be eliminated as passengers, both ways, fly directly to their final destination.
Uganda Airlines, with the launch of Lusaka and Harare, will be offering 16 destinations across Africa, to Dubai and Mumbai and later this year is the launch expected to finally reconnect Uganda with the UK when flights from Entebbe to London will commence.
